The rooms at Libera are awesome! I stayed in a double room with a balcony and it was just perfect. I loved waking up and enjoying my coffee outside while taking in the city views. The room had a TV with satellite channels, so I could relax and watch my favorite shows. Plus, having a kitchen and dining area was really convenient. as a laid-back traveler, I couldn't have asked for a better room!
Honestly, I couldn't find anything wrong with the room, but some people might find the lack of air conditioning in the single room a bit uncomfortable.

Great, I got to enjoy the lovely view of the garden while sipping my coffee on the terrace. The free WiFi allowed me to scroll endlessly and waste my time without a care in the world. The staff were always there to assist me, whether it was at 2am or 2pm.
Oh, and of course, the noise from the neighbours smoking in the lobby and shared washroom was simply delightful.

We arrived late at night and had some trouble finding the entrance, but the host was very helpful and guided us over the phone. The room was warm and clean, providing a comfortable stay. Despite a few drawbacks, it was a quiet and tranquil location, perfect for a peaceful night's sleep. I would recommend this place for its affordability and the host's responsiveness.

The breakfast option could use improvement.

The cleanliness of the place was excellent, and the host was friendly. The presence of three cute dogs made the atmosphere more cheerful. The location was convenient, situated in a quiet area close to the mountains. There were also good kitchen facilities and a fridge available for use.
The shared bathrooms were disgusting and smelled bad. The bins in the bathroom and kitchen were not regularly emptied, resulting in a mess.

The location of the guest house is ideal, with close proximity to Vitosha mountain for hiking and various transportation options into the city. the rooms are clean and comfortable, providing a sense of privacy. the shared bathroom facilities are well-maintained. the friendly owner and staff offer helpful tips and a warm atmosphere. the affordable nearby restaurant and corner stores offer convenience for meals and snacks.
The guest house would benefit from some renovations, particularly in the yard/garden area and lower floor.

During our stay at Libera, we encountered a small issue with the temperature in the toilet. It was quite cold, but fortunately, the room was warm and cozy. The staff at Libera were amazing and attended to our needs promptly. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, with a comfortable bed that ensured a good night's sleep. The location of the hotel was not central, but the excellent public transport links made it easy to get around. we had a great experience at Libera and would recommend it to others.

the family running the hostel is incredibly friendly and made me feel right at home. They even provided duvets and pillows so I didn't have to worry about bringing a sleeping bag for my festival trip to the mountains. the room was spacious and comfortable, and it felt more like staying with friends than in a hotel.
Couldn't fault 👌.

I recently stayed at this charming hotel in Sofia for a few days. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel right at home. They were welcoming and accommodating, even allowing us to check-in early. The owner, Anna's mother, was incredibly friendly, helpful, and caring. We were thrilled to discover they had a sweet little dog named Siba who added to the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The location was perfect, just a short distance from the famous Boyana church. We also enjoyed exploring the Boyana waterfall and lake, which were within a pleasant two-hour walk. The hotel itself had a cozy, family-like atmosphere and our room was spotlessly clean. it was a wonderful experience.
Totally recommend this hotel.
